Job Summary

The Merchandise Assistant is responsible for compiling, processing, disseminating, and maintaining merchandise information and providing other administrative support to the merchandising team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up items and assign/maintain attributes
• Support price change form completion/submission for buying office
• Executes Purchase Order Upload (post vendor validation)
• Maintain Purchase Orders as needed
• Assists with tracking purchase orders from entry to delivery
• Manage sample process and vendor follow-up
• Maintain electronic photo file
• Assist with vendor set-up/maintenance
• Assist with marketing coordination and web image management
• Prepare weekly reports and spreadsheets that support the merchant team as needed
• Manage SKU creation process from quote sheet upload to BOX, data entry and SKU set up

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office products, especially Excel
• Builds and maintains strong working relationship with peers and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
• Is detail oriented and executes tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
